You can talk to the Welfare Advisor if you are having problems at College or at home, with friends or other students, if you need advice on finance or childcare, if you have questions about drugs, alcohol, sexual health or relationships, if you are getting bullied or experience violence at home, need advice on housing, or have any other problems.

We have lots of experience of working with all kinds of people; this includes offenders, young people who have problems with drugs and alcohol, homeless people, etc. etc.

Michelle Bronson is the Connexions Personal Adviser (effective transitions/ welfare) for 16 – 19 year olds. Michelle works mainly with students aged 16-19, but of course she will also support you if you are older. She focuses on students with multiple problems or in especially difficult situations.Michelle has lots of experience in sexual health, housing and homelessness, drugs, alcohol, relationships, with care leavers, young people experiencing bullying or violence and other problems.

Even if we can’t always solve your problem, you can be sure that we will do our best to advise you and put you in contact with people who can help you.You can contact us when we are on duty or to arrange an appointment. We will come to see you at your campus.
