We understand that it is an important decision and can be a big step to go to College when you have a child.

If you can be sure that someone is looking after your child and keeping it healthy, happy and safe, it will be much easier to concentrate on your studies and achieve your goals.

Similarly, it is important that you don’t have to worry about how you can afford to pay for childcare. We therefore recommend that you find out about your options of financial support early on and also start looking for a childcare place with some time left before your course starts.

Joseph Priestley College does not have a nursery of its own, but we are happy to assist you in finding and arranging childcare. We will also do our best to advise you on ways of financing your childcare while you are at College.
